"i've been told that this motor is a 1947 scott-atwater 3.6hp.also been told it's a 48 made for firestone by S.A.the 3's on cylinder and head are 407 1881/on head 407 1883,the #'s on the mount(stern?)at this time i can not make out,any help will be greatly APPRECIATED!!!

"It looks like the brother to mine and my plate is attached but the s# is scratched off so the chart places it at '58-'61 Scott Atwater Hiawatha.

I know it has been a while since you post, but what happened to yours get it running ???"
