I am considering the purchase

I am considering the purchase of a 1969 Chris Craft DC with 8V-53's. Any info as to what the strengths and weaknesses as well as what to expect for performance of these engines would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

"the short and long of it is that major casting block, crankshaft and other parts are very hard to get for your engine and of cores the engine is obsolete. i whould look for a boat with a newer modle engine."
