Loose ground wires on a ox66 motor

still playing with intermitten

still playing with intermittent stalling problem. friend said check engine grounds. the only one i have seen comes out of the harness to the starter motor. any other grounds need checking on the motor?

Have you ever replaced the fuel pumps?

From symptoms below (bulb sucked-down), it sounds like clog in the fuel pick-up inside tank. Maybe the an anti-siphon valve.

Also, servicing the O2 sensor might help, but most likely the fuel system.

Checking the compression is always a good idea too."

"still bill, a friend told me about the ground wire, and said many yamaha mechanics know about this issue and yamaha should do a service bulletin. i think its one of the wires on the powerhead....not sure. to clarify the bulb, it did not collapse it just did not have any fuel in it."
 
yes follow the ground from bat

yes follow the ground from battery
also check the cables for corrosion
on my cables they were gone
yami stock cables suck
