i just got a older outboard mo

i just got a older outboard motor a 2 hp honda 4 stroke and i was wondering what kind of oil is supposed to be run in them and what oil filter is supposed to be used im guessin its a 87 if anyone knows how to read the s/n to get the correct year that would be great to

"My 1997 BF2A 2 hp owners manual says to use 10W-30 service classification SG,SF/CC,CD for general all temperature use. For higher temperatures the manual shows 10W-40, 20W-40, and 20W-50. Presently I'm using Mercury 10W-30 4-stroke oil. My Honda has no oil filter."
