I just bought a Suzuki

I just bought a Suzuki outboard and have a few questions:
1. The SN # is 0351218537 and I am wondering the year model?
2. Didn't have a spark plug installed. Do you know what size fits this engine?
3. What is the oil mixture rate?
4. ANy tips on starting an old engine?

"Hey there, i just bought a Suzuki DT 3.5 HP outboard as well but it seems like it's starving for fuel... the only way that i could get it started was by getting a spray bottle and squirting 2 pumps in the carb. first pull it would be going as long as i sprayed fuel in the carb to feed the need it would stay going for ever so to speak.. I've already cleaned the carb and checked the fuel pump for damages, the only thing that i seen was varnished gas in the carb and i cleaned that out... i need help finding out this problem surf angler"
