" I have a 4.3 penta sx combo winth the morse/teleflex shift kit. The boat wouldnt shift into fwd or reverse. I have checked the connection at the shifter and it moves freely.
at the transom... if i disconnect the cable it only will move a few inches and very difficultly, moving the shifter causes no movement in the cable so i assume it is broken, how does one remove it and how does one replace it?
